Meet Amber

I’m so excited to get to know you. You will like working with me if you want to be truly heard and understood. You won’t feel rushed or diverted. In your sessions, you get to set the pace and pick your goals. You are the boss, and I am the expert guide to your healing journey.


 I want you to feel at home in our sessions. Please come on in, grab a snack, and make yourself comfortable. I hope that after every session you feel a bit less burdened and alone in your struggles.


Life can be rough, but together we will learn how to build on your strengths and strategies to forge a sustainable pattern of resilience. Believe it or not, but you already have so much going for you. 


I love having variety in my day and enjoy working with clients across all ages. Working with really young kids requires a unique skill set of playfulness and creativity. I have to be able to translate my competency and understanding of mental health into developmentally appropriate contexts that kids as young as 3 years old can understand. Using strategies from play therapy I have helped littles and teens heal from anxiety, depression, and learn how to manage stressors.


I have over 10 years of experience working with kids and teens working on such issues as:

Building self-esteem,

Peer conflict resolution,

Emotional regulation,

And navigating ever growing demands. 


Additionally, my adult clients are recovering from trauma, depression, anxiety, and learning how to pivot in life’s neverending obstacle course. It can feel like there is so much pressure on every decision, like every choice is leading to the perfect future or absolute failure. I love being a sherpa and guide to my clients healing as they build a life of meaning and joy.
